Mobile Enterprise Systems streamlines processes and boosts customer service levels for Ireland’s number one provider of animal health solutions.

Supplying a range of veterinary, dairy hygiene and nutrition products to co-ops, merchants and farmers across Ireland, and operating a manufacturing facility in Cork and a logistics base in Co Carlow the Irish agribusiness has implemented Mobile Enterprise System’s field sales solution to manage their sales operation, substantially improving order dispatch times, increasing Sales Rep productivity and optimising customer service. The successful animal health provider now benefits from real-time data exchange with orders being sent to the office for processing before the Rep has even left a customer’s site.

Previously, the company’s 14 Sales Reps were managing the company’s 4,000 customers and 2,500 products using a paper-based system with the Sales Reps using their mobile phones to call the office with new orders.

After analysing the business’s needs and studying its operation, Mobile Enterprise Systems worked with the team to customise and implement the software solution. The automated system manages and optimises the order-to-dispatch process; the powerful interface seamlessly imports customers, products, pricing and open items from their ERP system, new customer orders are received from the Sales Reps and uploaded in real-time and orders are interfaced back to the ERP system where pick, despatch and invoicing are completed. Sales Reps are equipped with tablet devices which use GPRS to communicate back to the server.
